Content Creation
To promote the Laser Podcast, I developed a suite of creative assets tailored for different communication channels, ensuring consistency in branding and accessibility across audiences. These assets included:
Episode cover art
Newsletter updates
Banner images and blog posts
Short-form video content for LinkedIn
My approach focused on maximizing engagement within the Laser community while also reaching potential franchise owners through external platforms.

Newsletter Updates
The Laser Newsletter serves as a monthly communication tool for franchise owners, keeping them connected with the latest network updates.
For each newsletter, I created:
Episode Spotlights – Featuring highlights, key takeaways, and images from selected podcast episodes.
Episode Roundups – A concise list of all episodes released that month, driving discovery and engagement.
This channel specifically targeted members who prefer reading over listening, providing valuable insights while encouraging further exploration of the full podcast episodes.

Podcast Episode Cover art
For episode artwork, I designed covers featuring photographs of the podcast guests. This decision aligned with the campaign’s objectives of:
Building brand trust and loyalty within the network
Recognizing and celebrating the achievements of franchise owners
Creating meaningful, shareable images for the guests and their families, especially since trades professionals are rarely in front of the camera
By placing members at the forefront, the artwork became both a recognition piece and a visual history of the Laser community.

Banner Images and blog posts
In addition to the shownotes, I developed extended blog posts for the internal Laser intranet. These included:
Embedded Podbean audio players for easy access without requiring Spotify or Apple Podcasts accounts
Extended episode notes with streaming links
Supporting banner images for each post
This ensured accessibility for all members and provided a central hub for podcast content.
Short-form video content
While the primary audience was existing franchise owners, short-form video content was created for LinkedIn to also appeal to potential franchise owners.
This content used:
Animated captions as the main visual focus, catering to viewers who watch without sound
Motion-based text to increase engagement and highlight key insights
Short, digestible clips showcasing the value of the podcast
By adapting the content for LinkedIn, the podcast not only engaged the internal network but also positioned itself as a recruitment tool for franchise growth.
